UPCOMING ACTIVITIES JULY 2021

July 6, 2021 833 Bryant
  • Throughout the month there will be material deliveries. We will stay within the permitted traffic lanes for these deliveries. 
  • We will be performing work on the exterior scaffolding throughout the month, which will produce general construction noise. 
  • We will be installing a utility trench on Boardman Place near Bryant St. This work will be complete within existing barricades. 
  • We will be re-installing the traffic signal lights on Bryant St. / Boardman Place intersection now that the scaffold is removed at that corner of the building. This work will take place in early July. 
  • We will be dismantling scaffold on Bryant St. elevation in mid/late July. This will require trucks staged on Bryant St. within the permitted traffic lanes.   
  • We will be excavating, installing rebar, and pouring concrete throughout the month in the “backyard”. This may require some trucks staged on Harriet St., and appropriate traffic control will be used.

July 6, 2021 1064 Mission

Utility work to connect domestic & fire water to the building will begin on 7/7/21 along Stevenson Street and 7/9/21 along Mission Street for the irrigation connection to existing domestic water. The work will be performed during the daytime through the end of July. This will involve small excavators excavating trenches along Stevenson Street and Mission Street, Monday to Friday. The SFPUC will perform this work per their Special Traffic Permit provided by the SFMTA. All excavation locations will be covered with plates while the work is not being performed.

June 6, 2021 833 Bryant
  • Throughout the month there will be material deliveries. We will stay within the permitted traffic lanes for these deliveries. 
  • We will be performing work on the exterior scaffolding throughout the month, which will produce general construction noise. 
  • We will be dismantling scaffold on Boardman Place elevation in mid-June.  
  • We will be beginning excavation of utility work behind the building (opposite of Bryant St.) in early June, which may require some trucks to stage and exit on Harriet St. 
  • Towards the end of June, concrete trucks will be staged on Harriet St. to access behind the building. 
  • We will set up a mobile crane on Bryant St. on 6/14 to hoist equipment to the roof. This will require temporary lane closures that we have a permit for.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES JUNE 2021

June 1, 2021 1064 Mission

The mod setting period will continue through June. The mobile cranes set up on site and will remain there until all the modules are set into place. Additionally, another mobile crane will be set up on Stevenson Street to set the final mods on the Stevenson Street exterior. Through-traffic on Stevenson Street during normal daytime hours (not during the scheduled mod set) will be allowed. The set will occur each evening, Sunday to Friday morning, from approximately 10pm to 6am each night. The SFMTA have let us know that they will not approve the ​transporting of modules to start at 10 p.m. on nights when SF Giants have night games.  Therefore, transporting of modules impacting the traffic on 7th St and Stevenson will start at 12:00 A.M. on nights when the SF Giants games are in town.  Trucks will be present on Stevenson St during these periods to deliver the mods. We will still be working normal daytime hours during the workweek as well. Utility work will continue at the intersection of 6th St and Jessie St and the south side of Jessie St. The work will be performed during the daytime through the end of June. This will involve a small excavator excavating a trench along Jessie St, Monday to Friday. The utility contractor will gladly relocate any construction vehicles or equipment in order for local traffic to proceed through. All excavation locations will be covered with plates while the work is not being performed.

  • Throughout the month there will be material deliveries. We will stay within the permitted traffic lanes for these deliveries.
  • We will be performing work on the exterior scaffolding throughout the month, which will produce general construction noise.
  • We will be erecting scaffold on Boardman Place elevation in early May.  
  • We will be removing scaffolding on the South elevation (opposite of Bryant St., behind building (in early May. This will require a flatbed truck staged on Harriet St. to offload the scaffolding.
  • We will be beginning excavation of utility work behind the building (opposite of Bryant St.) at the end of the month, which may require some trucks to stage and exit on Harriet St.

May 4, 2021 833 Bryant

The period for setting factory-built housing modules has been set to begin Sunday May 2nd. In preparation of setting the modular units, the mobile cranes have been set up on site and will remain there until all the modules are set into place.  The set will occur each evening, Sunday to Friday morning, from approximately 10pm to 6am each night. The SFMTA have let us know that they will not approve setting to start at 10 p.m. on nights when SF Giants games are in town.  Therefore, setting will start the earliest 12:00 A.M. on nights when the SF Giants games are in town.  Trucks will be present on Stevenson St during these periods to deliver the mods. We will still be working normal daytime hours during the workweek as well.

Utility work will continue at the intersection of 6th St and Jessie St and the south side of Jessie St. The work will be performed during the daytime through the end of May. This will involve a small excavator excavating a trench along Jessie St, Monday to Friday.   • We will be removing scaffolding on the South elevation (opposite of Bryant St., behind building) the week of 4/19. This will require a flatbed truck staged on Harriet St. to offload the scaffolding.
  • We will be beginning excavation of utility work behind the building (opposite of Bryant St.) at the end of the month, which may require some trucks to stage and exit on Harriet St.

  • We will be performing street trenching for utilities on Harriet St., Bryant St. and Boardman St. parking lanes. We will have traffic control in place per approved special traffic permits.
  • We will be performing work on the exterior scaffolding throughout the month, which will produce general construction noise.

The period for setting factory-built housing modules has been postponed and is now estimated to start 2/28/2021, at the earliest. Mobile cranes will be set up on site and remain there for about 8 weeks while we set the modules into place.  The set will occur each evening, Sunday to Friday morning, 9pm to 6am each night. Trucks will be present on Stevenson St during these periods to deliver the mods. We will still be working normal daytime hours during the workweek as well.
